This particular patch cord has an industry-standard 1.0 mm diameter core/cladding plastic optical fiber surrounded by a black polyethylene jacket with an overall diameter of 2.2 mm. Patch cords are available in multiple standard lengths and shipped from stock or quickly fabricated from stocked inventory to meet short delivery schedules. Suitable for all communications networks that function at commercial operating temperatures. This is the most cost-effective of the ST/ST patch cords we manufacture.
